Voltage is an exciting music project geared towards young people aged 11-20 who would not normally take part in a music based activity due to the costs involved in buying instruments and paying for tuition. Voltage covers all popular music styles such as Hip-Hop, Rock, Dance and Elecronica. Activities include forming bands and performing live. Using the resources, staff and skills available at the Caley Youth Centre in Stevenston, participants will not only get free tuition, they will also have the opportunity to learn recording, sound engineering and how to film and edit digital video so that they can produce rock videos.

Now here's where the volunteering comes in! - after going through the programme, when you are confident enough you will then have the opportunity to help with the tuition and support of the new members of the project.

Project participants between the age of 16 and 20 will be eligible to join the MV Awards Programme.
